Accurate inventory control is an increasingly important aspect of IT management impacting many other areas whether to ensure software license compliance, improve support or maximise benefit from the installed equipment.
PDG can make this job much easier with a range of tools and services designed to generate the necessary information. This can include a manual 'walk through' on sites to collect information or full software auditing using site or network based tools, however, information collection is only part of the process. Control procedures to ensure the continued accuracy of the information and meaningful presentation is equally important. PDG can assist with this too either in conjunction with customer staff or as a completely independent service.
